Marina Racetin is an Alberta-based HR consultant with more than 10 years of progressive experience across energy services, post-secondary education, recruitment, and workforce development. She has built an HR function from the ground up and advised leaders on people strategy, employee relations, organizational change, and practical HR systems and processes.
Running is a passion of hers and inspired the name Race Consulting. She is always working toward her next personal record. That drive to keep learning, improving, and moving forward shapes how she approaches client work.
As Owner and Principal Consultant of Race Consulting, she provides project-based HR support that fits each organization’s culture and goals—helping clarify what’s needed and carrying defined work through to completion.

How We Work Together
No two organizations have the same goals, capacity, or culture, so every engagement is built around yours.
It starts with a complimentary 30-minute discovery conversation to understand your needs and assess whether we’re a good fit. If it makes sense to work together, we continue with a more in-depth conversation. From there, you receive a custom quote shaped around your project and needs, with the scope agreed in writing before work begins.
Monthly Retainer: A set number of hours reserved for your organization each month, for consistent support and a predictable budget.
Hourly or Project-Based: Flexible support billed hourly, or a defined project with clear deliverables and a timeline, carried through to completion.
You don’t need to have it all mapped out. Together, we’ll use the RACE Approach to shape a practical path that works for your organization.
